KDE also has a pretty cool feature for closing windows, should they ever refuse to:
Press Ctrl+Alt+Esc to get a skull cursor. Now you can click a window with that to kill it.

A more "to the ground" use-case. I have 2 monitors - a big one for games and a smaller one for everything else. Since I want to have a panel not on the same monitor where the game (or VM - at worktime) is at fullscreen, I make smaller monitor my primary... And all my games started to open on it by default. So I had to use kwin rules to force games' fullscreen windows to open on the secondary (bigger) monitor.
