While using my colleague's #DBAN USB key to wipe computers' hard disks, I did not really understand the menu and wiped not only the computers' disk but also the DBAN USB key...

Colleague is not entirely amused.

I tried to dd to the wiped USB key the DBAN ISO found at https://sourceforge.net/projects/dban/files/dban/dban-2.3.0/dban-2.3.0_i586.iso/download (link found here https://dban.org/ ) but it doesn't work.

What am I doing wrong ?

@Iutech prolly is a windows style iso, try woe usb (iirc thats the name)

I got the .deb for woeusb here https://www.fossmint.com/woeusb-create-bootable-windows-usb-sticks-from-linux/ but apt install brings me dependancies errors (that it says are unsolvable) ?
