The new Nokias by HMD aren't very.... exciting. Sure, having 3 years of OS updates is nice, but why would I want to use an uninteresting phone for so long? I wish my #AsusZenFone6 had another year of updates though, this device is still a joy to use.

#Samsung on the other hand has been coming up with some cool stuff. Sure they have way more resources to work and develop on certain innovations... let's see if what they are doing can shake up the status quo.

@cybette i think 3 years is actually bad. I'm happy with a nokia 6, but have to replace it now... why? 🤷

Maybe we should follow Germany's example and demand 7 years of security updates!

@cybette actually the producer should be responsible for every security update 'possible' for live time.
We should be able to sue them for every damage been made, if he could have prevented it. Isn't that the norm for stuff like cars nowadays?

cars and phones are different categories of goods though, in terms of pricing as well as "risks" if damages happen.

all symbian devices here, but the lime green ones do have a qwerty keyboard similar to the N950 👍

@cybette heh, I briefly held a N950 in my hands in 2011, so sad it was never released (in that form) to end users
