Tom Waits performing "Anywhere I Lay My Head" from the album "Rain Dogs". Wonderful song. Classic artist. It's kind of short.

from Pacific

A really groovy fun song by a Japanese exotica supergroup, really fantastic musicianship, absolutely timeless music.

Third-eye Open Psychedelia Noise-Jazz from Oren Ambarchi. Just listen to this, it's called Hubris Part 3, and I really need to say this, Oren Ambarchi doesn't use drugs iirc, which really says a lot when he prying open ur third eye

Tera Melos performing Until Lufthansa off the album X’ed Out

Very high-energy and fun punk song from this trio. Interesting choices from each of the musicians in their styles and approach, the drums are not like I’ve ever heard, and the guitarist uses pedals like I haven’t heard, their bassist is so solid too. It’s got a fair runtime and a really nice bridge.

#nowplaying #thenecks #2020 #music . The Necks performing Further from the album Three

Absolutely incredible downbeat improvisational post-jazz ambient piece by The Necks, at 21 minutes it really drives the rhythm home, the snare keeping things held down with a rimshot, then a snare, repeating. Hand percussion backing the mix, and small chimes fronting it, a wonderful bassline, a driving rhythm coming from the mix of the bass and drums. The piano is serene and focused, carefully playing repeating descensions on both hands, coming in and out with a loose but timely way. Very engaging rhythm, thoughtful melody, careful attention to change in the improv, absolutely wonderful song.

Weird Circles is a fun song, cool intro. Off the Album X'ed Out by Tera Melos. Good drums, weird guitar effects. Fast paced.

Enjoy

This song is called ***Matte Kudasai*** by quintessential progressive rock band ***King Crimson*** off the album ***Discipline*** released in 1981. A bittersweet love song, digitized from my original copy on vinyl, with a great rhythm and great control from Bill Bruford on drums. A wonderful guitar play between the two players, and bass is fun as usual from these guys.
