but youtube is so annoying and dumb

the latest thing where you are supposed to make a video under a minute in length and in an annoying cell phone shape is insane and incredibly irritating because some people do retarded shit with it

“lets review this game as a short.”

ok so the screen is cut to a cell phone size so I can’t see shit, and its less than a minute long so there isn’t jack shit you can tell me about it

@coyote yeah but ok fine alright there is a market for people who are fucking retarded and they deserve to be served as well.

But how the fuck can you review a game in one minute, all you can say is like “game good buy” and then times up, you can’t see the game in that screen format, and you won’t have time to understand is the elements of gameplay suit you or not. That’s NOT THE RIGHT FORMAT for a game review.

Its dumb. If you attention span is to short to watch a review of a game you are interested in, then your attention span is to short to actually play a game anyway.

@shebang @coyote IDK I think the short attention span is a fair point, but I don't think that YT was really a good place to field test it. I really just think YT should have stuck with the regular videos and be done with it. Less money to spend on the development of something utterly worthless.

@shebang exactly! A YTer I watch called Legal Eagle did a three part short series about the same thing, each part a continuation of the last. Like, wouldn't those three minutes be better if it was just a single video instead of me having to flail around on YouTube for 20 seconds afterwards?
