@1nv3n7 Open tasks. It has progress and deadlines along with lots of other features which is amazing for a simple task app. You should really try that one. I highly reccomend it. The only problem people had was that it needed contact info. But the devs told it was google's problem and its true. They can't do anything about it.

@dontoverthinklife yeah it's actually pretty good....but I was looking for something simpler like to do list kinda checkbox for the day on my home screen....there's an app I came across on f-droid or aurora droid not sure...but it was simpler and close to what I was looking for by looking at the screenshots they shared....let me know if you come across....:)
