Wtf. I did not expect the twist at the end of part 1 of Fingersmith.
And i didn't like it. That's a bit weak.
I'm seriously upset because of it.
Maybe there is a happy ending at the end of the book. Maybe not. I seriously don't want to read on to find out.

I'm not saying this is bad writing. It's just not what i wanted. I wanted, mostly, to be entertained.
(Yes, yes play some Nirvana at me, if yu want.)
I wanted was the writer to come up with a *positive* plot twist. Not this one.

Otoh, i didn't particularly like the writing stile, either. Too slow, too many diary-stile details.

Sonst bin ich inzwischen besser darin, Bücher nicht zu Ende zu lesen, wenn sie mir nicht gefallen oder mich etwas darin stört.
Hier musste ich mir das nochmal selber sagen.
Oh, well. Also, auf zum nächsten Buch.
