Reclaiming #DataCities. Apparently the cities of the future “need to collect a lot of data”.
But why?
It's not necessary to have a big face database to be able to supply clean energy or have working public transport.
The better question would be: “what kind of regulation systems are needed to maintain a city in the future?”. Ensuring that everyone gets a water and electricity supply doesn't necessarily require collecting a lot of personal data about them.
