something @garfiald always brings up clicked for me earlier today. it's about white people "imagining an army of brown people coming to kill them" didn't fully register with me until i was talking to a friend about being anti-zionist and the reason I never really bought into that line of thinking was because at a VERY early age I realized that we were the literal army. so i've just been thinking past interactions that i didn't register as racist at the time. garf's posts always provoke thought.
