Okay so this #patent is basically the #prequal to #TheMatrix.

The only thing left for #Microsoft to do, is block out the sun. Do they have a patent for that yet?

It's disturbing that they are trying to take ownership of #bitcoin.
a) #cryptoMining is a service, you can't patent a service.
b) bitcoin is #copyleft,
c) they claim that this tech can plug into any #crypto but their assertion in the preamble [0002] that a #cryptocurrency can be centralised is scary.

You'd have to ask a neuroscientist, but I think the rest is too.

Could this be an early sign of using algorithms to write and submit patent applications by the thousands? Just in case one of them can be used to knobble a competitor at some point.

I haven't see any sign of a limit. The only reasons to have software patents is to knobble competitors (or troll companies at random), or to gain entry to a patent pool (of "defensive" patents). NZ patent law doesn't even allow software ("as such") to be patented, for pretty much the reasons given here:

Automating software patent applications is like building a bullet factory.

I think the point is that the user will run a #cryptominer while consuming "#entertainment" or #advertising. The device will use biometrics to ensure that you are consuming such and give "rewards" to the specific user.

Its combining two technologies fairly predictably, so the #monopoly/#proprietary factor is a concern. The #biometrics can be used to get detailed insights into the #motivations of the user/#consumer.

Notwithstanding a sick human-powered use-case
