And once the rain sets in, tomorrow's races will be battles of attrition. The next race is less than one hour away as the women start at 3pm. Can anyone keep the Dutch riders from dominating the first day of racing at #Duebendorf2020?
In the women's race, it will be interesting to see if defending World champion Sanne Cant or American veteran Katie Compton can thwart the plans of the Dutch. The course looks ideal for Lucinda Brand. Annemarie Worst and Ceylin Alvarado are top contenders for medals as well. Kastelijn looked to be a bit over her best form recently, but she's got plenty of power for this course as well. Favourites for #Duebendorf2020:
