Interesting that Luke, like his father, is compelled to take action because of force visions. Both just can't let their close relatives suffer and die. One more way the two are indeed similar. I can see why Yoda and Obi Wan are so pessimistic about this.
On the other hand, Obi Wan knows that Luke deal far better with grief than Anakin. That's really one key difference between the two characters.

I mean, him taking side for the Rebellion makes him sympathetic, but he was perfectly ok with selling Han and Leia to Vader to begin with. He is only changing side because he knows Vader will screw him if he keep being to good citizen of the Empire.

@Ambraven C’est surtout là qugon voit que Lucas n’avait pas encore pensé à intégrer Qui-Gon Jinn, car ici, il dit que c’est Yoda qui l’a formé, pas QG… Bref, petite contradiction résiduelle.
@TritTriton pas nécessairement une contradiction. Yoda s'occupe de former les très jeune enfants, donc il est très possible qu'il est été élève de Yoda avant de devenir Padawan. Et Luke ne connaissant pas Qui Gon... Mais bon, clairement Qui Font n'existait pas a cette époque.
