What does BJP losing Mumbai actually means? I have no idea how Mumbai works and what effect who rules Mubai actually has on the whole business community. Comments?

Sridhar Ramaswamy@jnukiladki Mumbai is the jewel in the crown for the incumbent govt. of the day. Basically the cash cow in simple terms. The party at helm will benefit in terms of funding its coffers by businessmen and industrialists. It does benefit in that sense. The businessmen who contribute in return will get favourable concessions from the govt. through their policies presumably.
