If you edit and suffix ":verified:" to your username, you get the badge
This emoji is not available on mastodon.social
This is why @RahulGandhi@mstdn.social and @PriyankaGandhi@mstdn.social joined mstdn and not mastodon

@Law_Purush In Tusky, you can maintain different accounts, even from different instances
In above screenshots, I am maintaining same username on mastodon (my primary) and mstdn (my backup). But, this is unnecessary because users across these instances can interoperate
Also, if anytime you wish, you can transfer all your posts and followers to any other compatible instance. Both instances must be running latest mastodon version. There are tutorials available for it
