... that's the second time in a week or so that I dropped my phone... I'd just put a new screen protector on a few days ago...
At least it's only the #screenProtector that's cracked (though I won't know for sure till I remove it), and only in a corner, so I guess it's done its job, but this was my spare one, so now I need to order a replacement again.

I don't get why I'm so clumsy lately...

At least you been smart enouth to use a screen protector. I learned that the hard way.
@Twelve
yeah, I usually order one at the same time as my new phone. At first I used only a case, but that usually won't make much of a difference for the screen when you drop it while you're using it. Noticed that with my second 'smartphone', a Windows Mobile 6.5 #HTC #TyTNII, whose touch screen cracked after it flew or was knocked out of my hands. Nowadays I use a walletcover in combination with a screen protector. Muuuch cheaper to replace ;)
@Twelve
this actually is the third cracked screen protector already for this #Xiaomi #MiA1... the first one completely shattered last summer as I dropped it on a gravel road. Actually had to go several weeks without one as I didn't have a spare at the time and the shattered one was completely useless. Hadn't found time yet to get a spare one this time, but fortunately the current protector is still usable, so I'll leave it on for now.
@FiXato
I do the same now, i driped my phone ones and cracked it enouth to makr the thunch kot work. Replaced the screened and used that phone for one or two more years before the headphone jack broke as well. (When it broke i was playing music at at school ball as i got the job as sound enginer and well ruind it a bit) i also was unable to end any calls so finaly upgraded to an s8 and first thing i did was get a screen protectir and a wallet case.
