Dear #Mastomind: Is there an engineering thing acting like a pressure circuit breaker / emergency relief specifically triggered by rupture?

Eg: aircraft are pressure vessels subject (rarely!) to explosive decompression. Problem being that sudden venting can BOTH decompress the fuselage AND destroy it.

One (not recommended) approach would be to pre-fit multiple venting ports which could detect a pressure drop and blow first, sparing the airframe.
