Had my first, and hopefully ONLY, loading issues with the Leica IIIc today...!

Film leader tore and left a piece jammed behind the shutter curtains. Put paid to any photo taking in the field.

Once back home tonight I managed to remove the lens and setting the shutter to 'T' find a dislodge the offending piece of film. Camera is now working as it should and I'm down around 6 or 7 frames and a days potential shots. Ce la Vie!

We were on the 1st boat out to get the grocery shopping done in Fort William. Then drove the LONG way home via Glen Sheil, Plockton, Isle of Skye and the ferry from Armadale to Mallaig.

Followed by Fish n Chips in Mallaig before catching the local boat home and a well earned cuppa.

Met a guy from Paris, France shooting a Leica M6 on the ferry and had a good chat about film, cameras, and the local scenery.
