@Msquiggles @mike Here's the way I understand it. If humans are part of the Earth (as a single living thing), and we put bread on opposite ends of that living thing, then the earth made itself a sandwhich. It would be like if your skin cells put bread on your head and under your feet. Your collective being would have made itself a sandwich -- or, made a sandwich of itself. #heady
