@MelKat OOOOO what's your main genre you play in???
@jimmyjazz the stuff I play most often is kinda surfy music, early 60s kinda stuff, but sometimes doowop and motown and even classic rock and roll. I've played and do play many other genres though. The jazz I play is exclusively on drums. How about you?
@MelKat I started in punk music, but now I'm doing mostly jazz stuff. I just recorded my first jazz album yesterday actually!!! I'm still tired from it bc it was so long but I'm so excited for once we get the rough mixes backkk
@jimmyjazz That sounds hugely exciting! Congrats on finishing it! I had a similar path with my instruments too in a way :)
@MelKat Ahhh thank you!!! And that's neat! I find multi-instrumentalism is such an important thing. It helps you understand other musicians and collaborate better and can often lead to you getting better on your primary instrument too!
