Bottom right is definitely the one I use the most because it's the "power plus" burner so it boils faster. Second favorite is top left; I prefer to use the back burners when I can to reduce the risk of small people touching hot things!

@eyebrows Bottom left on my glasstop stove because it can be made large or small.

(I miss having a gas stove  )

@eyebrows Front right has the most flexible flame settings.
@eyebrows On mine, I mean. My front left is The Vaporizer ™ so it's usually just for boiling water.
@eyebrows front left, but front right has an honorable mention for being the Power Burner™ or some shit where it runs too hot for anything except boiling a lot of something.
@eyebrows The one marked in the arrows :-D

@aldersprig @eyebrows front left, because it's near the sink for convenient straining of pasta.

You can tell this easily at my house because it's the one with all the stains around it. <.<

@Rowyn @aldersprig @eyebrows I'm indignant this "favorite burner" completely disregards the fact that not all of them are identical, it isn't JUST the positioning
@Rowyn @aldersprig @eyebrows like I'd never use the big one for cooking eggs, that'd ruin them
@InspectorCaracal @Rowyn @eyebrows I do wish there was a small burner in front.

@aldersprig my mom's stove is great

Ours is the electric layout with two large and two small elements on opposing corners

@InspectorCaracal I really wanted the fifth small burner in front but we sort of compromised on a sweet spot of features and price. Our front ones are dual, but dual medium/large and large/omg, with small in the back.
@aldersprig ..... dual?????
@InspectorCaracal Like um cir… oh dear lord, nesting circles. that word.
@aldersprig omg you have a FANCY stove
@InspectorCaracal Glass top and everything and I am NEVER going back
@aldersprig @InspectorCaracal My favourite is front left. That's the smallest and the biggest, also with the ring-around-a-circle. :D
@aldersprig hers has a small and a medium in the back and a medium and a big in the front. The small one is marketed as "simmer"
@InspectorCaracal @aldersprig @eyebrows my current stove is gas and the burners are all the same except for position, though. 😁
@Rowyn @aldersprig @eyebrows oh wow I haven't seen one with identical burners in ages
