@gdorn and @pinkprius inspired me to make a vegan pizza. This was probably my best crust ever, and it was my first attempt at "sausage." Overall, it exceeded expectations. I'll also express thanks to my partner who made a last minute suggestion that saved the sausage after I'd failed and given up on it.

I'm not sure what you'd call it. It was cashews in the blender with water, lemon juice, garlic, onion powder, salt, and cornstarch. I put it on after the pizza was baked and then just went back in the over for a couple minutes.
