Currently on the fence about refunding a game to Steam.

I feel like developers have a responsibility that even if they want their game to have commentary about problematic real world institutions that they ensure that they do not borrow lines from their exact rhetoric. Even if it is framed differently for the in-universe understanding.

I think it's too easy to inspire imitators if not done carefully. #gameing

Some research into the horrors of the Steam forums has shown that a lot of people are upset about there being LGBT representation in this game (Timespinner) and I'd just like to point out that that's not what I'm upset about.

They wanted to make their villains clear evil, but used near direct lines from real world foundations that exhibit the same tenants.

It strikes me as irresponsible because it can still inspire individuals to agree with and side with the villains, and adopt the phrasing.

Happy to report that my issue with this game has been resolved!
