don't 👏 say 👏 you 👏 care 👏 about 👏 lgbt 👏 rights 👏 if 👏 you 👏 don't 👏 care 👏 about 👏 Apple's 👏 depreciation 👏 of 👏 LIBGL
@pounce Can you provide some links to the offending content in question. I'd like to hear more, this is the first I am hearing of it.

@pounce Thank you.
@freemo ofc lol
My friend (apple fanboy) says this is because apple only has ported depreciated versions of opengl and opencl, and they're not going to keep these running under their new mac OS. However since they haven't said they are replacing it with a newer version I have to assume they're just going to force people to use their proprietary Metal API in the future

@pounce Ahh I see, as the curator of the #Aparapi Open-source project this may be of concern to me. I need to dig deeper (it dpeends on OpenCL, which is tied closely to OpenGL in some ways).

While that seems important to me as a developer, and thank you for bringing it to my attention, I am still confused on what this has to do with LGBT rights?

@freemo it was just a joke because LibGL has some of the same characters as LGBT
Sorry, I should have put that behind a shitpost subject
@pounce haha no worries :) though I dont think anyone actually calls it libgl :)
@freemo yeah, I think it's almost always OpenGL (although I did see libgl in my timeline somewhere)
Aparapi looks super cool though, thanks for working on that.
@pounce Its a lot of fun to work on, and hell-a useful.
