Discoverability on here isn’t as good. I want my big numbers. They’re all that keep me alive....
@Zitron good now everything can work by word of mouth instead of algorithms. we can go back to talking to each other instead of being guided by brand resonances.
@dendycrew just want some attention or to die.
@Zitron im giving attention to you now ed. lets talk about video games online and be indifferent about how many people can overhear the conversation
@Zitron you can always slyly reply to stuff
@Zitron You get discovered by people here rather than programs

@Zitron

Ed, you posted this during the First Trump Administration.

That was a lifetime ago.

@Zitron that might be true - growth here is slow but honest. Putting all your eggs in another VC-funded basket is folly.

@Zitron Well I just found out about this app via reading Cory Doctorows, "Enshitification", immediately signed up. You, Cory and George Takei are the three people I searched for first, to follow. I don't know if this app is making the muneys yet, but it needs more advertising. I'll do my best to spread the word. The owners should think about doing a big marketting push via tech and politics, Youtube channels.
