Looks like Mastodon is active maintained and best supported with mobile view, apps and alternative UI clients.
#hubzilla is too much... friendica could be an alternative, but I think the UI of mastodon is better.
Looks like #postactiv isn't active maintained (first release 8 months ago, latest release / commit 2 months ago)...
