I just bought myself Planet Zoo because when I was growing up, Zoo Tycoon was one of my first ever games (along side Age of Mythology, Rayman 2 and Beyond Good and Evil)

Belated #BGStats for the #BoardGames I played in October. @BGStatsApp

New to me games:

#ZooTycoon it took 4 players 4 hours to work out the rules (1 already knew) and play half a game. Not sufficiently simplified from the video game but I’d like to try again.

#Innovation felt like a swingy card game but actually quite puzzly in the end

#Noria nice mechanics with spinning wheels but felt easy to make bad decisions early

#Trails Simplified-ish Parks but I prefer Parks

#ZooTycoon is a big expert game with a lot of creative ideas. For my taste it should have been streamlined a bit more, but still was a great experience. #boardgames #Brettspiele

Back in the old days, I used to drown in #RollerCoasterTycoon and #ZooTycoon amongst some other tycoon-ish games.

I wonder which version of RCT for #NintendoSwitch would be best to start over...
What's the big difference between the '3 Complete Collection' and 'Adventures'? Are they in any way comparable to the PC version from 20+ years ago?
