They have high-paying #affiliate programs to reward "recommendations"; some even run their own "VPN ranking / recommendation" sites 😏: possibly acceptable for bypassing #censorship or #geoblocking, IMHO not trustworthy wrt privacy.

At times I use a VPN service for privacy reasons. Very handy when I'm connected to a hotel's WiFi or other public networks.
Now it is impossible to connect to the VPN of #ZenmateVPN since early November. #ZenMate stubbornly refuses to refund any fees. Result: I paid fees for a service that is not provided. 🙁
