Back on the bike today. Paths poorly cleared last week (west side of Bow, N of Glenmore and Quarry Park) still snow/ice covered this morning. Biggest surprise was 130Ave overpass - wet bumpy ice across full width. Discovered at 20+ km/h 😬 (but stayed upright). Sunrise was a banger! #yycbike

Major fail on #yycbike pathways through Inglewood and past the rail yard. Zero attempt at clearing today but at least two passes of equipment not doing a damn thing (based on tracks in the snow). Also, steep hill up to Shaganappi (red) bridge not cleared so went to Edworthy and up cleared road.

Won’t bother with #yycbike pathway conditions as crews are out and will eventually get to the unplowed sections. What inspired me most this morning was the number of cyclists out before me! I left at 7am and every section of pathway I ride had multiple sets of bike tracks in the snow!
