I don't know who made these, they are plastic - but I picked them up from a local auction a couple of days ago for $5.00 US - which I felt was a heck of a good deal. The 2 smaller are on display stands, the bigger one isn't. They will make a good addition to my collection of star ships.

Not had a lot of confidence with #miniaturepainting beyond some very supportive friends and family. But after 6 months back in it after an incredibly long time, have produced something I'm quite proud of. #bluesquadron #ywing

Stalled completely since, of course, but feel that's normal.

In my photographs the spaceship models are usually shown from some distance. The illusion of realism in closeups doesn't work that well when paired with real life backgrounds.

Closeups alone however, are kinda neat. I think.

Playing with various sorts of machinery in the garage, vehicles for many purposes.

You know, if I won the lottery (I don't play but if I did) I would probably spend some of it to have a big garage and make a 1:1 size replica of the X or the Y.

I had a long break not finishing any models since my youth. Two decades went by until this little 1/72 scale Y-wing came along.

This was the first of this new era of digital cameras and Photoshop or whathaveyou. I liked how this worked and bought another model. Then another… It happens easily.

Now, 13 years later, I still love to photograph my spaceships on snow.
