@oldsysops @nobodyinperson @Atemu

I do offsite backup with borg using ssh:// and another using restic + s3 ( still minio have to migrate this to garage);

With #yunhost it is quite easy, with borg application ( https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/borg_ynh ). Two different yunohost server can cross bakcup one on the other using borg_app / borg server.

Temporary failure while installing PHP packages

The upstream repository hosting the PHP packages has currently an expired certificate. New installations, updates, and restorations of applications relying on PHP will most probably fail with the following error: <package> has no installation candidate. There is no workaround possible for this, you have to wait for the certificate to be renewed. You can monitor the upstream issue but, please, no brigading over there: it’s January 1st, have a little patience. 😅

YunoHost Forum
@nextcloud My most successful use of Nextcloud has been selfhosted using #yunhost @yunohost . I'm lookiing forward to trying it out with @coopcloud soon

Hey #flohmis! I just installed the new #yunohost package #flohmarkt 0.12.1~ynh3.

The flohmarkt code stays the same. @grindhold researched the issue that after upgrades to flohmarkt the clients needed to force reload the frontend.

To circumvent the problem nginx now adds a header to control caching. **Thanks for the PR to the yunohost integration repo by @grindhold!

The testing environment of #yunhost found an issue with using add_header in nested nginx-configurations and delivered a reference: https://www.peterbe.com/plog/be-very-careful-with-your-add_header-in-nginx

Thanks to the great work of all the yunohost contributers for that great testing environment!

The newer package can be updated or installed from the yunohost app store.

Cache busting

After an update of muc.deals, I realized that involved assets (basically all changed .css, .js and .svg files) are still cached in the browser resulting in a broken site. Current workaround for the user is to hard reload the page (STRG+F5). This way they're logged out of the site as well which...

#yunhost update or not update

that's the question

Take time to looks at #CHATONS (mostly French) : CHATONS – kittens in french – is the Collective of Hosters Alternative, Transparent, Open, Neutral and Solidarity. This collective aims to bring together structures offering free, ethical and decentralised online services in order to allow users to quickly find alternatives that respect their data and privacy to the services offered by GAFAM.

Freu mich grad Seitan

@ErictheCerise

the easiest way is #yunhost a headless debian install that serves as a platform for all kinds of self-hosting with practically one-click installs:)

YunoHost: garden your own piece of the Internet!

YunoHost is a system that installs itself on a server and allows you to install and maintain - with very little technical knowledge - digital services (apps) that you control.
