Today I want to write the sad lonely end of Yuki Yume the snow maiden (Yuki onna). Xmas stories are supposed to be happy, but oh well. Such is not the case for Yuki Yume.
The fact that it is not just his hair, but his head is that is actually shaped like that maks me want to cry 😭

The Snow Woman (1968) réalisé par Tokuzô Tanaka. Un version de la légende de la dame des neiges (Yuki-onna) moins connu que la version de Kobayashi dans Kwaidan, c’est une adaptation plus longue de cette histoire.
Yuki semble moins "glaciale" dans cette version. Il y a une intrigue en plus qui parle d’une sculpture à livrer et sur l’autoritarisme.
L’image montre son regard terrifiant quand elle est sous sa forme fantomatique.
