One of the most overlooked musical genres is the Yu-Mex movement from the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
It was a highly artistic fusion of Mexican and Spanish folklore with Yugoslavian and socialist modernity. It was only after NATO's bombing campaign that this fascinating culture disappeared.
