VIDEO – The Palm-Sized NAS You Didn’t Know You Needed
I would like to set up a NAS on my network which could host my Plex server as well as provide Nextcloud and Immich services. The idea of a NAS which would use NVMe SSD drives is also very appealing.https://medi-nerd.com/2025/12/16/video-the-palm-sized-nas-you-didnt-know-you-needed/
Youyeetoo NestDesk is a tiny NAS with Intel N150 and up to four SSDs
The Youyeetoo NestDesk is a little computer that’s almost small enough to fit in a pocket. But with an Intel N150 processor, dual 2.5 GbE LAN ports, 12GB of RAM, and four M.2 2280 slots for PCIe NVMe storage, it’s a versatile little system that could be used as a network-attached storage solution or for a wide range of other applications.
If it looks familiar, that’s because the design and […]

The YouYeeToo R1
A little while after writing about the Orange Pi 5+, I got another single-board computer in the mail that I was quite excited about (and still am).(...)

Youyetoo R1 single-board computer combines RK3588S chip with two M.2 sockets
The Youyeetoo R1 is a single-board computer that measures 100 x 69mm (3.9″ x 2.7″), making it a little larger than a Raspberry Pi Model B. But this computer has a bunch of features that Raspberry Pi’s do not.
Some of those things include a neural processing unit with up to 6 TOPS of AI performance, support for up to 32GB of RAM, and […]
Hey, les gars I NEED HELP WITH MY HARDWARE
Le poste en détaille (in english) :
https://forum.youyeetoo.com/t/install-manjaro-on-yy3568/444
Hi, there, Starting from the fact that the images provided by youyeetoo are hum… Not appropriate for my use. I’ve done a lot of digging on the subject of the SoC used by the card, and learned a bit more about the wonderful world of ARM-based Linux distributions and Rockships. This research led me to discover the Radxa company, which uses exactly the same SoC as we do, with exactly the same tools, not to say the same card with only two or three differences. And on their wiki there’s this tuto...
I tried to set up a Tailscaled connection in my YY3568 but when I tried to connect, I received an error telling me basically “impossible to run the backend”. After a bit of searching, I looked at the Tailscaled systemctl status and, surprise! modprobe: FATAL: Module ip6_tables not found in directory /lib/modules/4.19.232. So I check ip6tables with the command sudo ip6tables -L and then surprise again! modprobe: ERROR: ../libkmod/libkmod.c:586 kmod_search_moddep() could not open moddep file '/...
