AVOW had a great event working with Wrexham City Board to hear the voice of the youth of Wrexham City. We facilitated asking over 30 people between the ages of 11 and 25 years how they would like Wrexham City Board to support the youth of Wrexham.
If you want to be part of the consultation, but can't make an event, why not fill out our online form here : http://tiny.cc/avow_wcb_youthconsult
Dear friends,
If you see a change in our name from Uganda Eco Youths Network to simply Eco Youths Network, please donโt worry. This is part of the official regulation and registration process.
๐ Only the name is slightly changing our mission, vision, and objectives remain exactly the same. We are still a strong youth-led movement focused on sustainability, empowerment, and protecting nature.
Thanks for standing with us!

Pacific has built up the "Uganda Eco Youths Network" in Ugana, a youth-led organization dedicated to promoting permaculture in communities and schools, fighting hidden hunger, and creating sustainable projects. He and his team members are very passionate about these topics and they are hoping to change the world a little bit. Currently, they are preparing to officially register as a non-governmental organisation (NGO) to make their purpose official and make it easier to receive financial and other support. They have prepared most of the necessary documents, and are now looking for some financial support. A total sum of about 416,700 Uganda shillings (corresponding to 100EUR) is necessary to pay the official registration fees and make other necessary related payments. Next to financial support, the Uganda Eco Youths Network is also happy about any kind of visibility you can provide by sharing their posts on the Fediverse (@[email protected]), sharing this fundraiser, and talking about their mission! Uganda is one of the poorest countries in the world, and people are suffering a lot from the consequences of climate change, which will only get worse in the coming years. An initiative like this, which makes use of the resources of the community and shares this knowledge with especially young people in the community, is one way to support the local population. We can help spread the tools they need to create a sustainable community!

"As we told you dear friends, this is one of our #gardenbeds from our #communityfarming efforts. We, the #UgandaEcoYouthsNetwork from a #youthled project, are planning to visit Nswazi community to do more #sustainablefarming work. Weโre kindly asking for support seeds, tools, or funds to help us grow this #Climate. Weโre also looking for someone who can help us organize a #GoFundMe to raise donations and support our mission for #foodsecurity and #YouthForChange. Letโs grow a better future together"
