You.com - Here is my final verdict: this organization is fundamentally incapable of delivering a basic, functional product. While the subsystems they use work just fine, their pathetic platform sits right in the middle, screwing everything up. Do not use You.com, and definitely don’t pay for a service that isn’t worth a cent and exists only to cause trouble and pain.

If you don’t believe me, go take a look at their support forum. And in case you need another reason to bail, let’s not forget they actively censor the place, scrubbing posts to hide any mention of the serious issues people are actually reporting.

The fact is that there's no way to fix broken companies or products. The flaw is a much deeper cultural and attitudinal problem within the organization. If their intention is not to make a working product, nor do they care about the results, it is what it is. The only sane option is to get rid of such services, because there's practically nothing else you can do.

You.com | AI Search Infrastructure for Enterprise Teams

Skip the groundwork with our AI-ready API platform and ultra-specific vertical indexes, delivering advanced search capabilities to power your next product.

I have read so much in the way of #searchengines when it comes to #degoogle . However, none seem to compare in the quality of results. #DuckDuckGo #you are not quite there. #neeva was good but now closing so now I'm trying out #startpage.
What do you all use?

After continuing to test the various #AI chats available, #YouChat continues to be my favorite. I've even considered paying for the #ChatGPT API, but I'm not sure why I would when YouChat takes care of everything for me for free. Plus, You Search has a bunch of other great features available. I think I'm going to go this route for a while and see how it goes. #YouSearch

Super cool. I just set #YouChat as my default search engine in #Safari on my #iPhone. If the AI chat doesn’t respond with what I’m looking for, the regular #YouSearch results are just one tap away.

I added YouChat as a custom search engine to the xEngine app then activated the Safari extension. Done!

Here’s the URL I used:
https://you.com/search?q=%s&tbm=youchat

xEngine also has You Search and many others available to set as default.
