I thought it would be wise to place on record that I had dealings with #petermandelson in the middle to late 1970s. At the time I was an active member of the #fabiansociety and served on, among other things, the #executivecommittee of the #youngfabians . #petermandelson approached that committee with a request to be appointed its representative on the #britishyouthcouncil . He made a persuasive case and I spoke in favour. It was agreed. Nothing since then!
