Le constructeur automobile, en grandes difficultés, a annoncé un plan de restructuration d'une ampleur sans précédent depuis plus d'un quart de siècle : depuis qu'en 1999, Carlos Ghosn l'avait sauvé de la faillite en licenciant 21 000 salariés. Cette fois, ce sont 20 000 emplois qui vont être supprimés, soit 15% des effectifs du groupe. Qui va aussi fermer sept de ses dix-sept usines dans l'archipel.
