Great afternoon at the #TafarnyrIorwerth on #YnysMôn watching sister in law singing…

Just heard a commentator describe the plight of the Conservative Party, facing an existential crisis, as like the Celtic druids being cornered on Ynys Môn as the Roman (Reform) army chases them down before a grisly end. Never heard the metaphor before (le alone from London). Is it common? #YnysMôn
Finally got round to decanting photos from my big camera, so prepare for a flurry of bird photos.
First up, a trio of herons from #Wales in spring

Today I visited South Stack Lighthouse. As a woman in my sixties, it wasn't an easy thing to do.
There are 400 exposed steps, to climb down, and then a steep spiral stair inside the structure to climb the 20+ metres to the lamp room.
I was proud of my legs, lungs and heart, all of which got me to the lamp room at the top, and back to the car, breathless, but alive 😁

My best shot of the day, I seem to be getting better at this #photography lark, though to be fair, I had to take a lot of photos before I got this one.

This gull is riding a 30mph wind, and she's making it look easy.

"Pob hwyl", or "hwyl fawr"? As we leave North Wales for the almost certainly sunnier climes of Southwest Ireland (famous last words), a quick post of the view from #Caergybi to Ynys Mon. Just watching all the gannets (and I don't mean the birds) attacking the free food in the club lounge before at least some of them regurgitate it back into the onboard latrines during the forecast gale force crossing.

Currently working on a charcoal and Pierre Noire drawing on this abandoned Ty Hir. It’s a place that I visit often and have watched steadily decline.

Tristan Rhys Williams and Ob Od Æourth – Dylan Eil Ton texturally resplendent in the lowercase clamber of nature, the hissy brush of branch and canopy, the leafy scrunch of wandering feet. #musicreview #ambient #experimental #cymru #wales #ynysmon #anglesey #psychogeography https://freq.org.uk/reviews/tristan-rhys-williams-and-ob-od-aeourth-dylan-eil-ton/
