3. 'Lessons in Loneliness' a #wordofhonor #yexie fic.
This fic was something I thought up around the concept of loneliness and the way that Ye Baiyi and Xie Wang both feel a deep loneliness borne of isolation, despite how different their individual situations. In addition, I combined this with the idea I had of Xie Wang having a residence away from Zhao Jing, one that he purposefully keeps looking abandoned and run-down so that no one knows it's his and no one lives there. Okay, figured out how I'm going to be doing this- I really want to introduce the big three WIPs that I have, because I think it would be fun to share them, and to see what people think before I post them.
I'll probably set them up as three separate threads so that I can give each fic the space it deserves.

I’ve just reread The Force of the Blow by orange_crushed, all of whose writing is amazing, but I think this might be my favourite? #yexie bodyguard au, has all the usual attributes of her writing, the meticulous research, the intriguing plotting, the deliciously fraught relationship dynamics, everything.
