Ryan MalabedI've always been terrified of playing public pianos. I mean, mostly because I haven't regularly played since middle school and don't know how to play anything anymore, so pretty good reason imo.
I just saw that there's a new one over at Ocean Beach Park off Noriega so I took the plunge and just started clumsily plunking out an old song from Mario 2 I used to play a decade ago, and it was actually super fun! A kind woman started chatting me up about how she was also getting into piano too and was inspired by hearing me trying to remember how to play while in public.
