A special FX makeup artist has been in a secret relationship with a top actor for 7 years. With no progress in the relationship, she decides to break up & then meets a robot programmed to be a perfect boyfriend. Can a robot develop human emotions?

I couldn't help but compare this to "Are You Human Too?" where Seo Kang Joon did an amazing job portraying subtle differences between human & robot. Here, I really never believed that Yeo Jin Goo was a robot. The male leads did deliver on the emotions, but the female leads felt flat. The supporting characters were well-played.

The first half is cute & funny at times, but the last half never delivered.

I watched 1 eps a week with a Fri night watch party. It was great to watch with a group of people well educated in Asian cultures and mythology. I learned so much of the symbolism and meaning in the beautiful cinematography and the story. It is about learning to forgive, or at least accept the past and the consequences, even if unfair, to be able to move forward.

It's funny, touching, and heart-wrenching. The FL costumes are glorious. This is the first time I've seen IU and have become a big fan. She's an amazing actress. The other actors were also wonderful.
