The #yegzoo red pandas have spoken… and they are pumped for playoff hockey!
They’ve been zooming around their habitat ahead of Game 4, fueled by one thing: Connor McDavid (okay, and snacks). With speed, agility, and smooth moves, McDavid is everything a red panda dreams of in a hockey hero. Our pandas are all in for the Oilers… even if they’re wearing the wrong colour and think the Stanley Cup is a really big food bowl.

CITES display today at Edmonton Zoo about restricted animal products under CITES to trade and/or have. A few others outside CITES to make the guessing a bit challenging. I have seen Polar Bears in the Assinaboia Zoo in Winnipeg. Big teeth.

Visited my local zoo today. I continue to be amazed at the 18 in / 45 cm wells around some plantings. Seems a fall hazard to me. Adding some rails will be the same price now as after a damage suit -- but I am not a lawyer.
