Yeenoghu project completed!
Skipped some steps but it came together very quickly in the end.
Large, complex models like this are my new favorite thing.
40-50 hours work for the low, low investment of $40 plus primers, paint and glue.
Very well constructed model from Mythforged. The designer thought it out, the light sources were clear and the mends are mostly hidden in its design.
10/10 experience!

Yeenoghu project.
Step 8, 9, 10.
Been awhile since I posted and I did some stuff in the meantime.
Right leg done and attached.
4 part base painted and mostly put together.
I'll assemble it all when I get a better handle on weapon and tail placement.
Kudos to the designer, his feet go directly over where the horns are bisected.
Probably all I'll get time for this week, but no hurry.

Yeenoghu project.
Step 7.
Torso and head with spiked tongue, both arms, and left leg done.
And assembled.
So much detail work on the left leg, loin cloth blended with fur, leather, armor and bone.
And I'm having SO MUCH FUN! Legitimately.
On to the right leg!

Step 6
Finished the highlights on face and torso.
Glued on arms and filled gaps(superglue and accelerator does wonders folks) then did a little touch up at joins.
Next step is the spiked tongue and the legs!

Step 5.
Did the mouth, eyes, flesh on the ripped back and the torso.
Bone effect on spikes and teeth. There will be a spiked tongue to add at assembly.
Sunday I do the highlights to make the face and muscles pop.

Step 4.
Took me most of the day to get this fire effect on his "Mohawk".
I planned to do much more but ran out of time.
This was done with straight acrylic light yellow, thinned down with speedpaint medium and water, then white on the top to go under 2 coats of fire giant orange. Topped with Grim black.
The spines are white because I'm doing a bone effect later.

Step 3.
Can I replicate on the 2nd arm doing what I did yesterday with the 1st arm?
Yes, I believe I can.
I now have a repeatable process that I can continue with the rest of the model.
Next step, the torso, a huge complicated piece with the head attached.
