Watching 风华奇谋 (A Splendid Match) and the yearning is *so* good it physically hurts. The way they keep almost connecting but something pulls them apart — that slow burn where every glance carries the weight of everything unsaid.

Poem

Sitting here dreaming of words
Unspoken. Invisible. Elusive.
Yet to be imagined or written down.
My desire for them now intrusive
Been a while since that occurred.

Reminiscing about how they used to flow
So steadily. Freely. At will.
How they once made me feel
When I sat down long enough to be still.
Where did all that water go?

Searching for them now; chasing after them
Hard. Hungry. Determined to prove.
Willing each new word into existence
While the finish line comes into view.
Words start to come. I find a new rhythm.
