I don't think I shared my latest tension square for my elf coat. I took the advice I got here and made a much bigger square so I could take a stitch count from the middle of the square. I even blocked it to get a proper idea of what it would look like when made.

Well, the swift arrived, at last. 10 flipping days to come from London! I should have just got one from Amazon, but I don't want to use them anymore.
It's rickety and bent, but for nearly £10 (about 12€/$) I can't really complain. It'll get my skeins wound up properly and I can finally make a start on this coat.
I ordered a swift the other week after my disastrous attempt at making a cake (of yarn, smart arse!) without one. It's been in delivery limbo for a week now with no update. It would have been quicker to have it sent by carrier pigeon! Never use Evri, they suck so much balls it's unreal! And when I try and get somewhere with "chat" (read useless AI), all I get is "hmm, we'll look into it". 😡
Made it to the Waltham Abbey Wool Show. I've never felt more underdressed than I feel now. Most people are wearing their crafted tops or products, and I'm wearing a boring t-shirt.
Lots of beautiful yarn though!

This weekend is my local yarn show. I look forward to going, but I also worry I'll come out with a load of new hobbies and too much yarn. 😂
#StashDivesaturday The last couple of days, I was in Antwerp with my mom. We did some wonderful shopping, among other things. On the yarn side, I found this lovely cotton in the Veritas store. I plan on making a set-in sleeve type top-down tee with it, with some short-row shaping for the sleeve caps. To be continued! 😃
