Sometimes the puppet rebels against his master, tangling his wires into a twisted mess of disobedience. Voices chided him for getting in the way.

But these voices, noβthis /voice/ became home to him, growing used to its company. He craved the loss of control that came with being an audience member for his own annihilation.
