Roma, 24 apr. (Adnkronos) - Il magnifico rettore dell'Università degli Studi Link, Carlo Alberto Giusti, ha portato a termine una missione strategica negli Stati Uniti in occasione della presentazione del suo volume “The American Club - La fabbrica della cultura statunitense, il vero soft power dell'Occidente”, dedicato alle università statunitensi e uscito da poche settimana in libreria per Paesi Edizioni. Lo rende noto la stessa Università degli Studi Link sottolineando che Giusti ha incontrato il console generale italiano a New York, Giuseppe Pastorelli, e il direttore dell'Istituto di Cultura Italiano a New York, Claudio Pagliara, per presentare il volume, le attività e i corsi dell'Università Link e programmare future collaborazioni.
A conclusione della missione si è tenuto il Gala annuale che la Niaf, National Italian American Foundation, tiene a New York. In questa occasione è stato conferito a Carlo Alberto Giusti il premio per l'Amicizia Accademica, intitolato al presidente di Yale University, Angelo Bartlett Giamatti.
“L'università - ha spiegato il rettore della Link - è l'asset principale su cui tutti gli Stati devono investire, perché soltanto la diplomazia culturale e lo scambio scientifico che il sistema universitario sa assicurare può dare speranza all'uscita dalla crisi internazionale che stiamo vivendo”.

Rome, April 24 (Adnkronos) – The magnificent Rector of the Link University, Carlo Alberto Giusti, has concluded a strategic mission in the United States in conjunction with the presentation of his book “The American Club – The Factory of American Culture, the True Soft Power of the West,” dedicated to American universities and recently released by Paesi Edizioni. The Link University itself makes this known, emphasizing that Giusti met with the Italian Consul General in New York, Giuseppe Pastorelli, and the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in New York, Claudio Pagliara, to present the book, the activities and courses of the Link University and to plan future collaborations.
At the conclusion of the mission, the annual Gala held by the Niaf, National Italian American Foundation, in New York was held. During this occasion, Carlo Alberto Giusti was awarded the Friendship Academic Prize, named after the President of Yale University, Angelo Bartlett Giamatti.
“The university – the Rector of Link explained – is the main asset on which all states must invest, because only the cultural diplomacy and scientific exchange that the university system is able to guarantee can offer hope for emerging from the international crisis that we are experiencing.”
