If I am being totally honest, I find the whole #Yaesu WIRES-X thing really convoluted and confusing. And the new update to the 2.0 WIRES-X software makes it even more confusing. What were they thinking?

Just reading the manual for the Yaesu FT-60R has convinced me to buy it. I originally thought it’d be pretty limited solely because it doesn’t have an LCD screen, but literally the only thing that my Baofeng AR-5RM does better is have twice the character limit for channel names. #hamradio #amateurradio #yaesu #baofeng

Yesterday I got out my #Yaesu #ft891 after putting it in winter storage following my last #POTA this past November. I reacquainted myself with the controls etc to make sure I was ready for someday getting warmer weather. Ooo! I need to make sure my portable battery box is in good shape as well.
