My #telescope and my #camera are not designed for #astrophotography so image quality is far from optimal, but I still tried to take a photo of today's #saturn #occultation (visible from #Italy).

During an event like this a celestial body (in this case #Saturn) is hidden by the #Moon.

From my observation point Saturn disappeared for about 60 minutes

With a #photo of a beautiful #sunset I had the luck to experience few days ago, I wish all #Mastodon users a beautiful 2025.

My high school motto was "To be as new as the light at every dawn". I stared at this view thinking a lot about what this mean: let's be new!
