Derniere réflexion en cours : les messageries (type #Signal #Xmmp que je faire découvrir à mes proches) et les alternatives à #Discord suite à l'actualité récente.
Le débat est riche autour de ce dernier car rien n'est parfait et chacun a déjà ses préférences mais d'autre expérimente insatisfait

Comme bcp je me soucie des dérives du côté de #Discord (que j'utilise bcp côté groupes jeux de société) ou #signal et #telegram (alternatives à WhatsApp)
Et me voilà à m'intéresser à #Xmmp ou encore #Matrix
Quand on met un doigt dans le monde libre on y met le bras rapidement...
Des conseils ?

@bluszcz Za czasów #irc i #usenet nie stać mnie było nawet na łącze komutowane, za czasów #xmmp i #jabber miałem już serdecznie dość zaczepiania mnie na gadulcu...
Najlepiej chyba wspominam pierwsze lata na G+, na twarzoksiążce nigdy nie byłem specjalnie aktywny, ćwierkacz jakoś przeszedł bokiem, tak samo jak insta, tik-tak i kij wie co jeszcze.
Chyba nigdy nie byłem specjalnie social friendly

for the record, fun fact: while in xmpp clients encryption can downgrade in your existing chats at any point, in Delta Chat encryption of chats can never downgrade or the key change (ex. by malicious server trying to do MITM)

the "but email!?" is a common prejudice many people have until they actually try the app

@arcanechat @Zeitzeuge_64 @spla I didn't try it, maybe I should, but I am not very convinced by the idea of doing messaging with special things like polls via email. For me email is for emails and I'd rather use a protocol which is designed for messaging like #matrix or #xmmp.

I know XMPP has problems with fragmentation and Matrix seems to be centered a bit too much around synapse (definitely improving), does not allow me to delete accounts (test accounts!!) and has some other imperfections.
